This carefully curated photography tour invites you to capture breathtaking vistas, from the ethereal rice terraces of Yuanyang bathed in sunlight to the sea of golden canola flowers set against the karst mountains in Luoping. Joining us on this adventure is photographer Fabio Nodari, also a Kunming resident, who will share with us his best angles and favourite photo spots, and offer invaluable tips along the way. Each day is designed for passionate photography enthusiasts, providing you with the perfect balance of stunning natural beauty and vibrant local culture, ensuring an enriching experience for your lens and soul.

Day 1: Arrival in Kunming, the Gateway to Yunnan

Arrive in the vibrant city of Kunming, China's most diverse province and home to 25 different ethnic minorities. In the evening, take a leisurely stroll around Cui Hu Lake, an oasis in the midst of bustling city life. Immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere and get acquainted with the local culture. Savour your first taste of authentic Yunnan cuisine by the lake for tonight's welcome dinner, take the opportunity to get to know your fellow travelers and their stories, before settling down for a restful night in preparation for the adventures that lie ahead.

Day 2: Explore Historical Jianshui

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Jianshui, a charming ancient town with rich historical roots. Step back in time as you explore the cobblestone streets and blend of architectural styles from the Tang and Song dynasties. Marvel at the magnificence of the Chaoyang Gate, a stunning entrance that sets the tone for your exploration. As you wander through the serene Zhu Family Garden, hone your skills in capturing the delicate interplay of light and shadows amidst lush greenery. Visit the Jianshui Confucius Temple, the second largest in China, where intricate carvings and traditional architecture offer ample photographic opportunities. Conclude your day at the elegant Double Dragon Bridge, a masterpiece of Ming Dynasty engineering, perfect for sunset shots reflecting off the tranquil waters.

After breakfast, depart for Yuanyang, a world-renowned photography hotspot. Arrive at Qingkou Hani Village, where you can engage with the vibrant customs and traditions of the Hani people. In the evening, travel to the Yuanyang Bada Rice Terraces for a stunning sunset experience. Capture the essence of the landscape as the sun casts golden hues over the cascading rice fields, a sight that promises to be one of the highlights of your photographic journey.

Day 4: The Magnificent Yuanyang Terraces
