In the afternoon, you’ll board a bullet train to Dali, where your China tour guide will lead you through the charming streets of Dali Old Town, a must-visit destination in Yunnan.

Dali, once the capital of the Nanzhao Kingdom, is home to the Bai ethnic minority and a must-visit destination on our China tours. Located just outside Dali, Erhai Lake is known for its distinct ear-shaped outline. Continue your exploration of Lijiang by visiting two other UNESCO World Heritage towns: Shuhe and Baisha. In Baisha, witness the last remaining Naxi murals, painted during the Ming Dynasty and preserved through the Cultural Revolution, offering a deep cultural insight into the region’s artistic heritage.

Jade Dragon Snow Mountain National Park

Spend the day at Jade Dragon Snow Mountain National Park, a sacred and awe-inspiring destination on our China tours. The park’s highest peak reaches 5,596 metres, making it a breathtaking sight. Explore the stunning Blue Moon Valley, known for its jewel-toned lakes, and take the opportunity to dress in ethnic attire for a memorable photo with the area’s iconic white yaks. In the afternoon, enjoy the Impressions Lijiang performance by Zhang Yimou, before returning to the hotel and catching an evening flight back to Kunming.
